World Environment Day was celebrated at ICAR- CAZRI, RRS, Pali on June 05, 2015 The theme for this year is ‘SEVEN BILLION DREAMS. ONE PLANET. CONSUME WITH CARE’. Dr. B.L.Jangid, Head (I/C) emphasized the need to protect environment in a sustainable way and highlighted the factors responsible for GHG emission. A short film on global warming and its consequences was shown to the staff of the station for creating awareness for protecting the environment. The staff was educated about the concept of ‘Live green - Go green’, eco-values of planting saplings, protecting environment and the dos’ and don’ts. The staff planted 27 Neem saplings (Azadirachta indica) around the campus and pledged to adopt and take care of the saplings planted by them. The programme was organized by Sh.
